2001年，The Rev. Vito Aiuto和他的妻子Monique非正式地组建了The Welcome Wagon。他们的第一首歌是“There is a Fountain Filled with Blood”。然后他们被邀请到酒吧，舞会上表演。后来他们邀请了一些好朋友来演奏贝斯，鼓和班卓琴，这样他们的乐队更加丰富起来。他们经常在起居室写歌，设计唱片封面，终于于2008年12月发行了第一张专辑“Welcome to the Welcome Wagon”。他们的歌融合了民谣和福音音乐，轻巧灵动，犹如仁慈之手散发出明媚光芒散落在每个人的心里。（文/橘子郡达人）
