英伦经典：雪域巡警 一路狂奔 Snow Patrol - Run

沪江英乐独家专稿  提到Snow Patrol，你一定会想到两首歌——《Run》和《Chasing Cars》。日前，06年英国选秀节目《The X Factor》的冠军Leona Lewis翻唱了这首经典的《Run》点击试听Leona Lewis《Run》，立马成为全英国最畅销的下载单曲，歌曲打榜首周更是获得了英国单曲榜的冠军。Snow Patrol乐队的《Run》收录在他们的第三张专辑《Final Straw》中，这首歌在当年的英国单曲榜上取得了第五的最高名次，这一成功使他们跻身主流乐队。

2008年12月，Snow Patrol乐队主唱Gary Lightbody接受采访表示，“Leona Lewis在翻唱这首歌前，一定用了很长的时间去揣摩歌词，并且积极的思考如何将歌曲完美的诠释。我觉得她的翻唱很出众。虽然我并不是选秀节目《The X-Factor》的粉丝，但是当出现了像Leona Lewis这样具有天赋的歌手，我不能不关注。她在今后的20年内一定会取得更好的成就，她是下一个惠特尼·休斯顿（Whitney Houston）！”
