英国《每日镜报》日前透露,伦敦奥组委将派出在中国知名度最高的贝克汉姆登台表演。其设计的环节是贝克汉姆乘坐代表伦敦的双层巴士出场,然后跳下巴士,踢着足球冲入人群,接着数以百计来自英国的舞者将表演芭蕾,这个环节设计的特别之处在于,舞者会突然打乱舞蹈套路,拼成倒计时的数字来迎接2012年奥运会的到来。随后,英国著名的重金属乐队Led　Zeppelin与最受欢迎的选秀节目冠军、歌手Leona　Lewis合作拉开8分钟的序幕,其中还有展现英国人风格的Hip-Hop霹雳舞表演等。
