"Bitter Sweet Symphony"是英伦摇滚乐队The Verve在1997年推出的一首歌曲，收录在他们同年发行的《Urban Hymns》专辑中。作为乐队第三张专辑的首播主打单曲，"Bitter Sweet Symphony"在1997年6月16日发行后，一跃升至英国单曲榜亚军的位置。1998年年初，"Bitter Sweet Symphony"转战美国，在当年的美国公告牌Hot 100单曲榜上排到了第12名。 

"Bitter Sweet Symphony"入选《滚石》杂志“史上最佳歌曲”第382名；07年5月，在NME杂志公布的“史上最杰出的50首独立颂歌”排行榜中，"Bitter Sweet Symphony"获选第18名；同年9月，《Q》音乐杂综合50位歌曲创作人的投票结果，发布了一份“十大金曲”排行，"Bitter Sweet Symphony"也成功入选。（文/MR.Jiong）
